Virumo collects no data. This page explains exactly what that means for the app, for this website, and for the one form we run.

01 · The app

The app collects nothing

There is no account, so there is no profile, no email address and no password held by us. There is no analytics SDK, no telemetry, no crash reporting service and no advertising identifier in the app.

Your playlist, your guide source and your credentials stay on the device. Credentials are held in the device's encrypted keystore and never leave it except as part of the connection to the server you configured.

The only network traffic Virumo makes is to the servers you enter yourself: your playlist host, your guide source and your provider's streams. We cannot see any of it, because none of it comes to us.

02 · This website

This website is nearly as quiet

No cookies are set, no analytics run, and there are no third-party scripts, with one exception: if the contact form has a bot check enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile loads on the pages that carry a form. It is used only to tell a person from a script.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard request metadata such as IP address, timestamp and requested URL in its edge logs, as any web server does. We do not build profiles from it.

When you send the contact form, your name, email address, chosen device and message are emailed to us so we can reply. We keep that email only as long as we need it to answer you and to send the early-access build you asked for.

03 · Your rights

Your rights under UK GDPR

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to delete it. In practice that means the contents of any message you have sent us, because that is the only place your details exist.

Ask through the contact form and we'll answer within one month, usually far sooner. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

04 · No dark patterns

No banner, because there is nothing to consent to

There is no cookie banner on this site. Not a small one, not a pre-ticked one, not one that hides "reject all" behind two clicks. We do not set cookies or track you, so there is nothing to ask you to agree to.
